Zorro (Spanish: Fox) was a fictional Hispanic legend in Spanish California. He was created by fiction writer Johnston McCulley (1883-1958), who wrote five installments in the pulp magazine "All-Story Weekly" in 1919. Zorro became America's first "Superhero".
